Mr. Litt a.k.a Mr. brookzonev12 is a musician from Brooklyn, United States. While growing up as a resident of the Fort Greene Projects, he was the only boy child out of the three kids. However, his childhood was not all rosy. He was sent to prison when he was just a teenager living in New England.
Music came into Litt’s life pretty early. He was introduced to rap by his friend Sunny Red when he was a young kid. Along with Sunny’s two brothers, Litt made a rap group called NBG. Sadly, Natural Born Gangsters ceased to exist when Sunny Red passed away, and the other members went their separate ways. Even though Mr. Litt was away from music for almost a decade, he gives a lot of importance to its role in his life. He believes that if it were not for music, he would have been wiling away his time in the streets.
But it was only when Litt released a song and its video online that people started to take notice of him. Everyone told him that he had a lot of potential and Litt, too, felt free and light whenever he was producing music. So, he started dropping his music videos on Facebook. Soon, word got out about his musical talent, and he started doing shows on radio stations. He even founded the Litt Lifestyle Entertainment which is all things ‘Insight, Culture, and Passion’ to help other upcoming artists in the music industry. Litt even did a live interview with DJ Drewski of Hot 97 and sold 100k of his mixtapes hand to hand!
Litt says that he doesn’t wait for opportunities to come to him. Rather, he reaches out to people for them. Staying in the public eye has helped him create his brand. Having done shows everywhere from Miami to Maine, hosting events, and working with top artists, he believes his approach and sounds are different from everyone else, and that’s what makes him unique.
Describing his style of music, he says that it is kind of a trap melodic mix. Through his music, he aims to let people know they are not alone in this world. Always talking about the real issues, he cites Jay Z as his biggest inspiration in his musical journey. Mr. Litt also looks up to QC P a lot.
However, music is not all that interests Mr. Litt. He owns a lot of real estate, sells used high-end cars, and invests in the stock market. His latest release called Weekend featuring an upcoming artist called Amoh is really close to him.
