Rebecca Ruber has come a long way since her humble beginnings at Hackensack High School, where she was President of the Drama Club and was voted ‘Most Dramatic’ and ‘Most Sarcastic’ by her classmates. Today, she is a professional model and actress who has appeared in television and big screen productions such as Billions, Abnormal Attraction, and Limitless. However, Ruber has emerged as much more than a successful model and actress. Let’s add entrepreneur, podcast host, Instagram sensation, and fitness trainer to her resume.
Ruber earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a Marketing concentration from Ramapo College in New Jersey in just three years. And even though her modeling and acting career-path does not seem to fit her degree, it’s her business and marketing savvy that gives her the edge when it comes to self-promotion.
Her degree was also especially useful in building her own business — Bespoke Society featured on Ruber’s Instagram. Venturing into a new career realm, Bespoke Society is a streetwear brand created with Michael Sebahie. The designs are attractive unisex T-Shirts, dad hats, beanies, and hoodies that appeal to men, women, and non-binary people.
Aside from launching her streetwear brand, Ruber also hosts two podcasts. The first is Just Ghouly Things, which she started with Lilly Baldassare. This venture began in the deepest, darkest throes of the pandemic as a way to entertain people during the quarantine. Just Ghouly Things discusses ‘all things’ paranormal, from UFOs to Bigfoot.
Her other podcast, Inside the Ring, addresses one of her true passions — boxing. Ruber has always been committed to a fitness routine and says the transformation created by activities like boxing is both physical and mental. Ruber dedicates her show to advocating fitness and promoting the fact that everyone needs a way to look their best and develop a positive mindset.
Ruber states that she lives a disciplined lifestyle where she listens to her body and does what’s right for her health and happiness. She hopes her listeners are inspired by her words and can develop healthy routines they can stick with.
Some people might think as an actress, model, brand owner, and podcast host for two shows, Rebecca Ruber is stretching herself a bit thin. Well, these people don’t know her tenacious spirit. And guess what — there’s more!
As a fitness trainer and boxing instructor, Ruber’s workout routines are heavily laced with boxing moves that keep her clients fit. Ruber is thrilled to share her love for boxing with others in the gym and through her podcast. She even sings its praises on her Instagram. Ruber loves the fact that results are so noticeable. She can see the physical and mental benefits of boxing right away, and so can her clients.
A true believer in health and fitness, Ruber wants to reach as many people as possible to spread the word about getting and staying fit and healthy. Ruber says she is overwhelmed with the response to her workout videos. “I have so many people reaching out to me saying they saved my workout videos and that when they did them, they had one of the most effective workouts of their life!” You can check out these boxing videos for yourself at Instagram @insidetheringofficial.
It makes sense. Ruber is passionate about fitness, and she shows this extreme passion in everything she does. Her new boxing podcast — Inside the RIng — is released this week on Apple Podcast, Google, Spotify, and iHeartRadio. Her videos, and now her podcast, promote boxing as a vigorous but simplistic workout that people of all fitness levels can modify.
However, let’s not push modeling, acting, and running her business out of the forefront. Some people might wonder how she has time for so much in her life. Ruber wouldn’t have it any other way. Although she’s busy, she always has her workouts to alleviate some stress. No doubt about it — Rebecca Ruber makes time to do it all. And she’s just getting started.
