The following conversation between Adam Esposito and Xavier Ward offers further insights into his new startup Fourth Dimension Logo and the ambition to bring together creative professionals in Boise, ID.
Xavier: When did you (first) start designing?
Adam: I started my passion for design when I was 18 years old after purchasing my first mac book. I downloaded Adobe Photoshop and immediately fell in love with the design capabilities – I’ve been designing ever since.
Xavier: What is your background?
Adam: I was born in Las Vegas, Nevada and moved to Boise, ID when I was 15 years old. I graduated from Capital High school and studied Business Entrepreneurship at Boise State University. Since 2015, I have been helping my clients and business professionals in the Treasure Valley to establish their Brand-Identity and Web Presence.
Xavier: What does branding mean to you?
Adam: I truly believe that branding is the most important aspect of any successful business. It’s a way to identify yourself and help you stand out in an increasingly competitive marketplace. It’s how your customers recognize and experience your business. It’s more than a creative logo, it’s a representation of how you do business and identify yourself; it’s reflected in everything from your style of customer service, uniforms, business cards, advertising and more.
Xavier: How did you start designing logos?
Adam: While studying Business Entrepreneurship at Boise State University, I started my first company – Athleticworx Supplements, at the age of 18. As the sole proprietor, and with no other help I had no choice but to figure out how to brand my newly formed company. On a bootlegged version of Adobe Illustrator, I created the logo for Athleticworx Supplements. The business thrived and eventually, I sold the company years later.
Xavier: What does your digital design work aim to say?
Adam: At Fourth Dimension Logo our mission is to make an impactful first impression on our clients’ customers with professional and timeless designs. Through the client’s inspiration and our creative expertise, we help create a powerful brand-identity through creative product design and advertising tactics.
Xavier: What inspired you to start Fourth Dimension Logo?
Adam: Fourth Dimension Logo was created to bring together the creative professionals in the Treasure Valley and surrounding areas. Boise, Idaho is a melting pot of talented designers, it was the perfect place to create my company. I wanted to share my passion for design with the world and unite these creatives under one studio.
Xavier: What challenges did you face while transitioning into creative work?
Adam: My biggest challenge was bringing together other talented designers under one roof and convincing them to collaborate together. I realized early on that you can get a lot more done with a bigger team. It took me a long time but eventually, I was able to bring together some of the most creative designers in Idaho.
Xavier: Where do you see yourself in the future?
Adam: I would like to expand Fourth Dimension Logo and its services to the greater Northwest. My dream is to work with a variety of Fortune 500 companies and to establish multiple studio locations. I would like my company to become a staple in the creative world.
