What is the most luxurious house you have ever worked on in terms of $ if you can share that with us?
One of the most luxurious homes we’ve had the honor to work on was an expansive beachfront estate in Malibu, valued well into the seven figures. This project epitomized coastal luxury, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that offered breathtaking panoramic ocean views, custom-designed interiors with rare materials like marble and reclaimed wood, and a flawless integration of indoor and outdoor living spaces. The property was equipped with state-of-the-art amenities, including a private spa, an infinity pool, and an advanced smart home system. This project was a testament to our ability to create bespoke, high-end residences that seamlessly blend with their natural surroundings while delivering unmatched comfort and elegance.

Every detail, from custom cabinetry to innovative home technology, is meticulously chosen to enhance practicality and beauty. Why did you choose this career path, and what made you interested in remodeling homes?
My journey as a business owner and the origins of MY Home Builders are deeply intertwined, rooted in a rare blend of passion, experience, and the convergence of preparation and opportunity. Early in my career, I held various roles across different industries, gaining valuable insights into business operations and management. This experience allowed me, when the time came, to work quickly and effectively in building an organization I could be proud of. The start of MY Home Builders came when I identified a gap in the market for professional and honest home improvement and remodeling services that resonated with my own interests and expertise. This realization ignited my entrepreneurial spirit, leading me to create a business to fill that gap. The opportunity to make a tangible impact on people’s lives through remodeling and construction projects was incredibly appealing to me. This year marks the 10th anniversary of MY Home Builders, an incredibly exciting milestone in my career.

If I were to expand MY Home Builders, I would consider venturing into sustainable home solutions. This could involve specializing in eco-friendly building practices, such as incorporating renewable energy systems like solar panels, implementing water-saving technologies, and using sustainable materials throughout construction. By focusing on sustainability, we could cater to a growing demand for environmentally responsible home solutions in California. This expansion would not only align with our commitment to quality and innovation but also contribute positively to the community and environment.
If you haven’t already, what is your dream home to build or remodel for yourself and your family?
My dream home to build or remodel for myself and my family would be a contemporary architectural masterpiece that harmonizes with its natural surroundings. It would feature open-plan living spaces filled with natural light and complemented by sustainable materials like reclaimed wood and energy-efficient systems. The design would incorporate seamless indoor-outdoor transitions, offering panoramic views and ample space for relaxation and entertainment. Inside, modern amenities would include a state-of-the-art kitchen, luxurious bathrooms, and personalized spaces for work and leisure. This dream home would not only reflect my passion for innovative design and craftsmanship but also provide a comfortable and inspiring sanctuary for my family to enjoy for years to come.
Are you on location a lot still, or more in the office?
As the owner of MY Home Builders, my role primarily involves being in the office, overseeing project management, client consultations, and business operations. While I’m not on-site every day, I ensure that our projects are meticulously planned, resources are allocated efficiently, and our clients’ expectations are consistently met. This approach allows me to focus on strategic decision-making and maintain the high standards that define our company’s reputation in the remodeling industry.
Do you or would you move into any form of sustainable building/remodeling with your materials?
