San Diego, CA: Though waiting in line for hours in the freezing cold outside of a Romanian bakery to get 2 loaves of bread to feed a family of five once seemed normal – to Izabela Hamilton, this was not her destiny. She dreamed of something bigger, and when she was accepted into a Visa program that would allow her to come to America – she jumped at the chance to build something more for herself – and her family.
“I made the decision that I will live in America and nothing could stop me,” said Hamilton. “I was able to get into a program, go to the embassy, and be granted a visa for America. What a win that was! I felt like my life would completely change and it did.”
However, success was anything but easy. Hamilton worked hard – through a string of random jobs – and putting in more than 60 hours per week – to earn enough money to support herself and send some home to support her family. Of this experience, she says, “All I thought of every day was that I wanted them to never have to worry about money again. I didn’t care how much I had to work as long as they were happy. I knew that I couldn’t give up at the first sign of hardship. I was set up to succeed and that’s all I saw.”
Failure was not an option. Hamilton decided if she was going to be successful, she was going to do it by helping other people. So, with her laptop in hand, she founded Rankbell – an Amazon ranking service focused on helping sellers strategically grow their business and become financially free because of it.
